Apple Watch: you'll love this new feature

In iOS 17, Apple introduced the Check-in feature, which is enabled in Messages and allows you to send notifications to your loved ones as soon as you reach your destination.

In case your route is interrupted, pre-selected contacts will receive information about your device's location, battery level, and mobile network coverage. This information can be used for emergency services and/or warnings.

A tool adapted to the Apple Watch

This option is now available on Apple Watch thanks to WatchOS 11. According to MacRumors, it can be activated in the Messages app, but not only there. In fact, it can be launched from the Education app when starting a session.

This addition is even more interesting for connected watch users who travel in dangerous areas with poor mobile network coverage.

Our colleagues also point out that every time you go to train outdoors, you can launch this option by going to Settings and then the Training tab.

Les données sont chiffrées de bout en bout

End-to-end data encryption Also, keep in mind that watchOS 11 is currently only in beta and available to developers only, so things may change between now and the final version.

Finally, the Apple brand knows that this data is sensitive, so it has ensured that it is encrypted from end to end. What do you think of the addition of this option on the Apple Watch? Tell us in the comments.
